The Expo Line is Finally Open!!!
After six years of expectation the expansion of Los Angeles’s light train train system (LA Metro) has finally opened. The Expo Line could be the way that is perfect USC pupils, staff, and faculty to obtain around the city without getting behind the wheel. The new line has three stops directly next door from our campus. One end is on the side that is northeast of while the other two are on the south side of campus.

Some members of our workplace have already traded in their cardinal and gold parking permits for the monthly metro pass to overcome their commutes to work. Our workplace is slowly overpowering all of the seats in the 8:18am train! Our experience happens to be wonderful and we’re excited to tell students and families in regards to the convenience of getting around Los Angeles when we hit the road in the next weeks that are few our fall recruitment travel.
Welcome Right Back, Pupils!
Summer is visiting an in depth. Classes at USC resume week that is next. And the absolute most things that are exciting happening on campus this week—our students are going in! Our campus is busy with students and families getting everything all set for the scholastic year. Welcome Week has officially started.
In between the tasks that are necessary registering for the USCard , becoming familiar with the libraries on campus, and picking out a meal plan, pupils and parents have multiple events and activities to select from during Welcome Week. There was A welcome Reception designed for parents hosted by the USC Parents Council and also the Office for Parent Programs to begin parents that are connecting all the resources our campus has to provide them. Many of the scholastic departments on campus are keeping open houses for pupils to come meet faculty, staff, and other current students within their program.
